Our Mission

Why Stralis PL exists and what we are working toward.

Information changes outcomes

Poland has become one of Europe's significant destinations for foreign workers. People arrive from across the continent and beyond, drawn by employment opportunities across many sectors. Yet research into migrant worker experiences consistently points to one recurring challenge: the gap between what people are entitled to and what they actually know they are entitled to.

That gap has real consequences. Workers who do not understand their contract may unknowingly accept conditions that fall below legal standards. Those unfamiliar with the social insurance system may miss out on benefits they have contributed to. People uncertain about their residence documentation may feel unable to raise concerns at work for fear of their employment status.

Stralis PL was created to address that gap directly. Not through legal advice or representation, but through clear, accessible educational content that helps people understand how things work.

Four principles that guide everything we do

Clarity Over Complexity

Polish labour law contains genuine complexity. Our job is to translate that complexity into language that a non-specialist can understand and act on.

Accuracy Above All

Educational content about legal matters must be accurate. We review and update our materials to reflect current law and flag areas where professional advice is needed.

Accessible to Everyone

Good information should not be locked behind expensive consultations. We make foundational knowledge available in a format that anyone can access and use.

Respect for Dignity

Every person who comes to Poland to work deserves to be treated with dignity and to understand the protections that Polish and European law extend to them.

Educational, not advisory

There is an important distinction between education and advice. Legal advice is specific, personalised, and regulated. Educational content explains how systems work in general terms, helping people understand their situation well enough to ask the right questions and seek professional help when they need it.

Stralis PL operates firmly in the educational space. Our courses, workshops, and materials explain concepts, describe how processes generally work, and point toward official sources and institutions. We do not tell individuals what to do in their specific situation.

This distinction matters because it keeps our content genuinely useful for a wide audience while maintaining the accuracy and responsibility that topics like labour law and immigration require.
